Michilis was founded in 1964 under the guidance of Jim & Tom Michilis (Michilis Bros). The company was built on Honesty, Loyalty & Excellence; philosophies which still govern the organisation today. Now in it's 54th year under the guidance of the second generation of Michilis, cousins Mark & Tom (Jnr) 

Michilis have forged a reputation for excellence & experience that is recognised by architects, project managers, contractors, engineers & surveyors.

The client list is testament to the quality of work undertaken. Michilis have become involved in numerous exciting new developments while continuing to maintain long term relationships with clients such as Ausgrid, City of Newcastle Council, Hunter Water, Liberty Onesteel, CSIRO & Koppers. Michilis is fully accredited with Bureau Veritas for Safety, Quality & Environmental Management systems & continue to implement improvements to our systems, Michilis is "Constructing the Next Generation"

Managing Director

Mark has construction running through his veins, being the 2nd generation & involved in the company since 12 years old, Mark has spent many years overseeing the running of the business, liasing with clients & ensuring the success of the company.

Thomas Michilis
Managing Director

Tom is our hands on Managing Director, motivating self construction awareness. Developing the next generation.

Ryan Byrnes
Construction Manager

Starting as an apprentice with Michilis in 1997, Ryan has an abundance of construction experience, an eye for detail and a passion for producing quality projects.

Josh Chivers
Project Engineer

Josh started with Michilis whilst finishing his university degree with honors.  Josh has since gained further experience in infrastructure & civil industries and has returned to Michilis after a 2 year break.

Chris Berrigan
Chief Estimator

Chris has been a part of the team for 12 years, as our chief estimator he has ensured the growth of Michilis with his outstanding success rate on tenders.

Robert Ross
Contracts Manager

Rob joined Michilis in 2017, specialising in infrastructure. Rob has brought with him a wealth of industry knowledge.

Chris Gedye
Systems Manager

Employed with Michilis for 8 years, Chris has been involved from the start with the Companies accreditation for Occupational Health, Safety & Environment as well as Quality Assurance.  Chris is our Return to Work Co-Ordinator as well as our Systems Manager.

Mick Brown
Estimator

Starting with Michilis as a carpenter, quickly moving into a leading hand roll. Mick has since moved into estimating & is proving to be an excellent asset to the estimating team.

Nicki Day
Office Manager

Nicki has been with Michilis for 18 years, starting out as an Admin Assistant part time & moving into office management over 10 years ago.

Hannah Bremner
Administration Assistant

Hannah is our Administration Assistant, Han is the voice behind the phone, she will greet you with a warm smile as you arrive at our Head Office.
